It has been more than a week since FoodBytes Forum suddenly went down.  I was actually in the middle of composing a message when it happened.  This prompted an e-mail to the web developer and host  After a couple of days of being assured via e-mail that everything was normal, I had to place a very lengthy long distance call to the US.

 

A couple of hours ago, I was surprised when the Forum suddenly popped up! This was followed by an IM saying that the problem has been identified and fixed.  Craziest thing was that the problem was identified to be nothing more than a single letter that pointed foodbytesforum.com to an old and expired hosting account.

 

One letter.  One letter that turned the site off for a week!

 

Really, the smallest things has the craziest effects.
